Non-fiction books by Judith Silverthorne are biographical in nature. Her first one, "Made in Saskatchewan" is based on the life story of Peter Rupchan, a Ukranian pioneer and prolific potter, who lived in northeastern Saskatchewan. The second one is a collection of short biographies on Saskatchewan's early woodworkers from between 1870 and 1930.
